Come “Unmask Your Pride” at Sonoma County Pride’s Photobooth @ Brew! Be a part of Sonoma County’s Virtual LGBTQ Pride – Unmask Your Pride 2020! Stop by Brew this Saturday from 10am to 2pm and join us at our photobooth!

#UnmaskYourPride signifies Pride’s encouragement and a gentle nudge to everyone to “Unmask Yourself,” “Reveal Your Authentic Self,” “Shed the Layers You Hide Behind in Order to Adhere to Societal Expectations,” “Share and Release the Burdens You Carry to Protect Protect Yourself in Our Society.” A growing sentiment we have heard after the past 2 months of Shelter in Place was variations of: “I was able to be more myself because I was not worrying about what people thought of me.”

In the spirit of Alicia Key’s statement, “I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing.” We ask you – What is something you are willing to share or reveal about yourself that you have unmasked or let go of in the past two months? Or something you would like to release in the coming year?
