Thank you for joining us for our first-ever drive-through Parade LGBTQI Pride Celebration event. Please read each of these pages carefully. To ensure a safe and enjoyable event experience for participants and spectators, the rules and regulations herein will be strictly enforced.

This year’s theme is “BEYOND THE RAINBOW, Surviving, Reviving and Thriving”. The pandemic dominated our lives for over a year, causing many in our community to feel isolated and alone. Our lives have changed forever in some good ways and some not so good. Finally, our community is able to come together once more. For those of us who have SURVIVED, the celebration will REVIVE our spirits and show our Unity and Strength, and set us up to THRIVE.

Drive-through parade participants are encouraged to design their Stationary Float (Display) to be as festive and creative as possible. We encourage you to incorporate our year theme into your design.

  • No registrations will be accepted after Monday, May 24, 2021
  • Online Registration is available at www.SonomaCountyPride.org/Parade.
  • Mail-in Registration is also available by downloading the application from the website.

The primary on-site coordinator for each entry must submit the signed Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Release form for the group with the application. Every person in your group must also sign on the day of the event in order to obtain an access badge allowing entry to the stationary float (display) area.

  • Agreement: Submission of this application along with your payment constitutes an agreement to follow all terms and conditions listed below.
  • Deadline: The deadline for entries at the ‘Early-Bird Special Rate’ is, Monday, May 17, 2021. After that date, entries are permitted at ‘Standard Rate’ through Monday, May 24, 2021. No entries will be accepted after that.
  • Early Closure: In the event, more entries are received than can be presented in the drive-through parade, Sonoma County Pride (hereafter SCP) reserves the right to close registration for entries early to ensure an efficient and manageable event.
  • Refunds: Entry fees are not refundable after Monday, May 24, 2021. Cancellation and a request for a refund from the parade committee must be requested by that date via email at Parade@SonomaCountyPride.org.
  • Weather: The SCP drive-through parade is a rain or shine event. All stationary floats (Displays) must be prepared for rain or sun and heat. Unless the SCP cancels the drive-through parade, no entry fees will be refunded.
  • Acknowledgment: Upon receipt of your application by SCP, you will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt and indicating whether further information is needed.
  • Liability Waiver: All entries are required to submit the Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Release form with their application by email or postal service by Monday, May 24, 2021. Every person in your group must also sign on the day of the event to obtain an access badge allowing entry to the stationary float (display) area.
  • Entry Description: All entrants must conform to the description stated on their application. Any changes must be submitted in writing with a copy of your Entry Application. No changes will be allowed after Monday, May 24, 2021.
  • Special Placement Requests: Separate entries that wish to have a space next to each other, MUST request this on their application indicating what group they request to be placed next to. All parties wishing to be grouped together must note it on each of their respective applications. We will attempt to fulfill your request but cannot guarantee it.
  • Pre-Registration Required: There will be no drop-in or last-minute setups.
  • Parade Packet: Final instructions with drive-through parade information will be emailed to the primary contact of the group that is indicated on your registration form on or about Monday, May 31, 2021. You will be assigned your space number and your check-in time. The lead contact person is responsible to communicate this to your group prior to event day.
