Pride Planning Committee
The Russian River Sisters Pride Planning Committee [RRSPPC] is chaired by members of the Russian River Sisters, Inc., a 100% volunteer group. The Russian River Sisters are a 21st Century order of nuns. Our mission is to spread joy and goodwill through community events, charitable acts and fundraising, with focus on the special needs of the Russian River area. We are also busily at work in safer sex education efforts, political and socio-economic awareness and community building efforts.
Our primary goal is to make the Russian River area a better place to live.
The Pride Planning Committee is a standing committee of the RRSPI, and meets throughout the year to plan and raise funds for the annual LGBTQ Pride celebration in Sonoma County.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering with the Pride Planning Committee should click on the Committee List link on the right side, and contact the chairnun of the committee with which you wish to volunteer.
As nuns, we honor our vows at all times and expect others participating to do so as well.
