This year, the Sonoma County Pride Planning Committee has made a commitment to doing what it can to mitigate our impact on the environment as a result of our Celebration.  We know that there’s MUCH MORE that we can do in future years toward this end, and we recognize that with limited time and resources, we will not be able to do everything we wish we could.  For now, here are the efforts we are making to make Pride just a little more Green:

• Our fundraising and vendor-solicitation campaigns were orchestrated online as much as possible, thus practically eliminating the ink, paper, and envelopes necessary to conduct these campaigns. 
• Our flyers are printed on recycled paper using soy-based ink. 
• Minutes to our meetings are sent out electronically; indeed, the majority of our communications are conducted via the Internet, reducing fuel consumption. 
• We asked vendors to do everything they can to reduce waste – click here to see the information we provided to them.
