Sonoma County Pride Festival 2011
Celebrate!

In 2011, the Sonoma County Pride Festival/Celebration followed the Sonoma County Pride Parade, and took place on the grounds of Guerneville Lodge in Guerneville. A short walk from the parade route was led by the San Francisco Gay/Lesbian Freedom Band.

The celebration included music, dancing, beer & wine, a seperate children's area, a seperate over 18 area, and space for vendors to sell their wares and non-profit groups to offer information about their groups and services. There was a committment and recommittment ceremony on the main stage.

Onstage entertainment at the Pride Festival showcased a wide variety of music and talent with Pippi Lovestocking acting as Mistress of Ceremonies for the festivities. Pippi is a co-founder of the long running SF institution “Trannyshack”, and a veteran performer of television and standup comedy. http://pippilovestocking.com/

Coyote Grace is made up of one part sultry femme Ingrid Elizabeth and one part hunky trans man Joe Stevens. This bands profound lyrics and sharp witty banter served them well as an opening band for The Indigo Girls, Melissa Ferrick and Girlyman.  http://www.coyotegrace.com/

Jeb Havens is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter who's been singing/playing piano, and writing music since the age of 10, blending a catchy pop/alternative style with raw, emotional therapy. He has performed at various Bay Area venues, including SF Pride 2010, Lone Star Saloon, The Mix, and Martuni's Piano Bar, where he co-hosts a monthly showcase of local queer music. Ethel Merman, (as channeled by Mark Sargent) is a San Francisco entertainment legend, famous for appearances at Trannyshack, Charley Horse, Martuni’s and Café Du Nord.
